Just a quick reminder about different things going on.
Fencing Classes are starting again. The New Mexico Fencing Foundation’s regular classes start again on the 2nd of September. The homeschool class is Monday at 1:30 pm or more kids classes are available at 4:00 pm. Check out there website for more info. www.nmfencing.org
Howling Coyotes 4H Group will be accepting new members starting at theend of September. They are currently meeting the 3rd Wednesday of themonth at the fairgrounds. Email me if you need more info.
Also City Different Roots and Shoots will be celebrating Peace Day on
the Plaza Sept. 21st at noon. We will be flying our giant Peace Dove.
Come join us. If you are interested in Roots and Shoots activities
please contact me.
Also City Different Homeschoolers meet for Park Day every Friday from
2:00 pm-4:00 pm. We currently have mostly younger kids but would love to
see some new faces as well as older kids. We are currently looking into
a place to meet when it starts to get cold.
I am also planning some SHEA sponsored field trips and sports if anyone
is interested.
Possible field trips are: Rock climbing, Ice Skating, Open Bus Tour of
Santa Fe, Shidoni Tour and more… Please let me know if any of these
interest you.
I am also looking into teaching tennis, volleyball or basketball. This
would be a short 6-8 week class that meets once a week.
